Delivery terms
These terms apply to deliveries made by Phil's Fencing Supplies Pty Ltd (ABN 58 628 426 899) from our Craigieburn warehouse and ACOM Hoppers Crossing Pty Ltd (ABN 18 682 381 139) from our Hoppers Crossing warehouse, both trading as ACOMFENCE ("we", "us"). You can also collect your order from the warehouse with no delivery fee.
1. Where we deliver
We deliver to the postcodes listed at checkout. If we do not deliver to your postcode, or we have not set a delivery price for it, you can still place your order. We then price the delivery separately and the warehouse will contact you to confirm it before you pay.
2. Delivery fee
The delivery fee is set by your postcode and is shown at checkout and on your quote. Orders containing heavy items such as concrete sleepers may have a different fee. The fee on your quote is held for 14 days, the same as your prices. Delivery fees include GST.
3. When we deliver
We pack and release goods only against a paid tax invoice, so delivery is arranged after payment is received unless you have a credit account with us. We do not give a fixed delivery date at checkout. The warehouse will contact you to agree on a delivery day. Our usual delivery lead time is the same day to 2 business days, and delivery days are Monday to Saturday. Delivery times are estimates only. Weather, stock, traffic and other things outside our control can affect timing, and a delay does not entitle you to cancel unless the law says so.
4. Access to your site
We deliver to the kerbside or nature strip of the delivery address, and our responsibility for the goods ends there. Please tell us about any access problems, such as narrow or steep driveways, gates, overhead wires, soft ground or low trees. We are not able to carry goods through the property, and we will not drive on ground that could damage the truck or your property. If, at your request, our truck crosses the kerb to deliver, you are responsible for providing safe and adequate access and you pay for any damage to public or private property that results.
5. Unloading
Fencing materials can be long, bulky and heavy. Please have enough people on site to help the driver unload them safely. If we cannot safely unload, we may take the goods back and charge a redelivery fee.
6. Check on arrival
Please check your delivery when it arrives. Note any shortage or visible damage and tell the warehouse within 24 hours of delivery. Take photos where you can. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected, and our returns policy explains what happens next.
7. Risk and ownership
Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us. You own the goods once we have received full payment.
8. Collection
You can collect from the warehouse during opening hours once the tax invoice is paid. Whoever holds the paid tax invoice may collect the goods. Please bring the invoice or your order number, and we may ask for photo identification. Our warehouse has two drive-through lanes, one inside and one alongside, so you can load with no waiting, easy access and plenty of parking.
